Should I keep on till October for release of Leopard (Mac OS X 10.5)?
There are several concerns for whether I should hang around for Leopard.
1. Is Leopard going to be preinstalled on Mac Book Pros as soon as it is released?
2. Will I get a free upgrade to Leopard if I buy a Mac Book Pro within August? Becuase if it's true, I get a copy of Tiger AND a copy of Leopard.
3. Will the latest release have compatibility issue for applications that are already working near Tiger.
4. Is there any other reason that I probably don't want to upgrade to Leopard as soon as it's released?

1. Yes
2. Probably not. There will probably be an upgrade coupon with the alien MBP, but I've heard that they are worthless.
3. Probably. Like an other exotic OS it will have some bugs.

no wait until leopard is realsed this trip up. u cannot get leopard if u draw from a mbp in august. lately wait

so i guess the best entity to do is wait for possibly a month after leopard is released to buy a mbp? also, how do you guys think the unusual OS will affect the price? is the price they are selling for now the lowest it will achieve?
