How do you reset a laptop?

to the imaginative settings without a system restore way out

Answer:
Depends on the operating system really. With XP and Vista there is a possibility you can restore from the hard-drive. Basically this channel there may be a passage of your hard drive that already contains the information that the restore cd's would. To find out if you can, on XP, Boot your computer and Immediately start drumbeat F11. This should bring your into your recovery option. Go through the process, if you still need the cd it will enlighten you within the first minute. In this grip if you need the cd and you don't enjoy it, your going to need to contact the factory owner and buy the restore cd's. These are usually inexpensive, around $20 and well worth the price.

Otherwise if it is Vista, you stroke F8 from the beginning of your boot. You will hold recovery option here.

If you dont have repossession cd's but you do have the operating system cd, you can run a restore impossible to tell apart way, but you will call for to download the drivers from online after installation. Also this CD wont contain any of the preloaded software you get with your computer.
Use the repossession CD and re-install the operating system
noway to do that!

unless you enjoy the system recovery disc!

hope that helps!
