How do you capture hd tv on your laptop?

You will want to install an HD compatible TV tuner card, as the other answerer indicated. I do NOT like pinnacle products because their extended support of their existing products is far from fair. There are several other manufacturers that own better track records.
I hold a Pinnacle TV/FM tuner card(not HD compatible) that was created for Windows ME/WIndows 2000. XP still does NOT enjoy a suitable driver that functions well for this card. Surprisingly, Vista does.
