Should I buy a laptop, or a desktop for institution work?

Well.. it depends on what you prefer.. i use a laptop . but i also have a desktop ... Laptops are protable .and you can appropriate them where you wanna jump.. but for me .. it is alot more comfortable to sit ona desktop and type a paper. If your not thinking in the order of taking ur laptop whereever u go and if you can access a computer beside ur files in ur institution .. then here is really no need for one .. besides desktops are alot cheaper than laptops (with same specs). i anticipate a laptop that costs 1300 .. has teh same specs as a PC that costs 600...
it really depends on you .. i instinctively havea laptop and to be honest .. i dont go mobil beside it ... when i goto school i a short time ago take my flash drive (usb) or email my documents to myself and use them contained by my schools libarary or computer lab.
Desktops at present come with really huuuge Harddrives ... themost that i foud on a laptop so far is 250 gigs or around that :)
buy a desktop it is much strong than laptop.
for institution work buy a laptop.
much more portable.
I suggest laptop.
You will need a Wireless router too, I suggest www.linksys.com check within for a wireless router.
