A well brought-up laptop?

Hey im looking for a clad laptop for school if anyone have any ideas. Id approaching it to be a dell, preferably an inspiron, and also windows xp pro. also not too expensive. appreciation

Answer:
Now i do not know any stores that sells XP computers. but HP (or compaq owned by HP) is the best, it's the cheapest laptop. and it's nippy, and more!!! it's awsome.
this is too subjective to give you a authentic answer. I could tell you positives and minuses for adjectives laptops. but it depends on yoru uses. If you want something lighter get it lighter, if you want to do movies an video in the dorm bring back an apple. get what you can afford. DO not go beyond up a Linux machine, and Openoffice.org for free department ware, with loads of free software, later you can buy a better laptop and not spend it all on applications.
The solution is inside you grasshopper.
Go to dell and go to the lessons page. Type in your institution and you should find a discounted price on a recommended laptop from your school's technology center (most university have this planned out). Go from within and put the mods and whatever else you want and create your own laptop.

Surplus is the instrument to go. You can get hold of new or refurbished for a fraction of the hottest models. All the newest models come beside Vista now, but surplus comes next to whatever it have, or sometimes no OS and you can put whatever you want on it.
