How to update nouns card?

I hold a gateway laptop and I am unsure of how to update the sound card. I am lost since I am not sure what nouns card it is. If someone could explain the steps involving finding the sound card, afterwards ill post it up and could someone administer me some link...I am lost involving this topic. I am running window XP home edition

If by "update" you mean "install fresh drivers", consequently use the built in firmware update features. If you scrounging "upgrade", then you are screwed: near is no way to upgrade laptop audio short of buying an external USB system.

You can goto www.drivers.com and download and run their driver agent.

the nouns card on laptops is embedded into the motherboard. You can't upgrade it. Do you be a sign of you want to update the drivers? If so check the gateway website for your model and they will list everything to be precise in your device. They will also have updated drivers for any piece of your system. If they exist.
