Do I really have need of a 2GB memory if I use Windows Vista Home?

Answer:
512mb is the minimum you requirement to run Vista, however, I don't think that low of an amount of memory (RAM) will allow you to run Vista's "Aero" graphics features that take home it look so cool (transparencies, etc).
1GB should be just fine and will run Aero, however, if you do seriously of memory intensive computing, it still could be lacking.
2GB will distribute you absolutely no problems as far as whats out in attendance now surrounded by software.

Of course, a decent graphics card will also clutch the burden off of the RAM for the Aero features.
No Just 512 is adequate For 3D Fliping U need Graphics card.. For Best behaviour U need One GB of RAM
most tricky drives today are at least 60gigs. if you are talkin around ram memory, later one gig should do it.
You don't own to have it but you will be miserable minus it, I ran Vista on a computer withh 1GB of memory and it wasn't pious because idling the computer be running at 90+ percent memory usage. 1.5GB might be acceptable of late depending on what you are doing. I would however recommend 2GB memory because it will almost guarantee your computer from being outdated exceptionally soon.
yes vista use's alot of memory but 2gb is on you. honestly the more ram you own the faster it will move when loading program's and such. alway's best to have plenty ram than not ample.
if you want to be snappy with the bells & whistle turned on, then, yes you involve 2GB of RAM.
if you want to run it w/the bare minimium of pretty & function, 512MB -1GB will do.
next to 512 you will be hitting your head against the wall, beside 1 gig you'll occassionally be hitting your pave the way against the wall. With 2 gigs you'll be happy as a clam. With 1 see your PC is at a constant 50% ram usage AT LEAST. beside 512 it will constantly use page file (virtual memory) on your complex drive and will be very unresponsive.
I enjoy 2gb and vista home premium and my brother has one and the same computer with newly 1GB an the difference is not that big but when multitasking (burn dvd and web surf) afterwards the difference is significant, if you can afford it go and take it but if you feel suitable with your computer as it is hold it that way. If you settle on to buy more RAM try crucial.com or frys.com they have great deal.
