Acer dvd drive worked a week after the monday worked but stoped working in the middle of copying files to the computer next tried it again on tuseday night and worked fine for a few min next froze the computer and couldnt stop anything unless i took the dvd out of the drive took it to circuitcity and they are working on it just courious to see if anyone know whats wrong loose cable? or somthing gratitude

well acer is the cheapest brand of workstation out there. so you catch what you pay for really. i wouldnt be suprised if i be you. you know they sell pc's for resembling $300?
