My laptop mobile is 10.8v, I can singular find a replacement mobile specifically 14.4v, will it still work?

Every site or eBay almanac I have looked at for a freestyle for my model laptop says the battery-operated is 14.4v, but my laptop's battery is 10.8v, will it ruin my computer?
