Any computer wizzes out nearby? Help needed!!!?

I only bought a brand new computer next to windows xl. I'm using bell sypatico giant speed, but the problem is my computer is painfully slow when surfing the lattice!!! My old computer be alot faster, is there something that should be in the swing of things, or any other tips would great!
