My laptop wont play or burn cds .?
and it came near dvd and cd-rom and so i can copy and burn cds.
but i think i delete the drive becuase i tried to burn a cd and i used to do it before but when i insert a cd it doesn't read it and this little pop appears aphorism i need a cd drive what the hell do i do if i delete the drive file would i own to reinstall the windows xp software.?

The answer is yes, reinstall XP unless you hold a separate disk with the compact disc burner's driver on it. Or maybe you could download a trial driver from the CD's manufacturer's web site. Try that previously reinstalling XP.
