Some more comp problems =(?

ok when i put a cd contained by my laptop it dosent open right away. And when i dance to "my computer" the cd drive is not in in that!! Even when i take the cd out it still dosent show the cd drive! Can someone give a hand?

Might be the cable is loose for the CD drive, or nearby is a conflict, or the CD drive is fruitless.

1. Go to My computer and right click it, then select govern. Check for the CD drive surrounded by the list and see if in that are any errors. If it is not listed after either the cable is loose and you would enjoy to open the luggage to check this, or the drive is bad.
it adjectives depends on the cause.sometimes that can be fixed by restoring a previous registry. Boot up the computer. Before the OS starts to nouns, start tapping the F8 switch. A menu should come up. Choose 'command prompt only'. At the dos prompt type scanreg /restore and enter. Choose a registry to restore with a date that precedes the problem. When it's done, reboot and see if that fixes it.
