Laptop minister to!! Serious answers plz!?

I enjoy just get back from my holz contained by france and i took my laptop. When i returned home the internet was broken my dad cant fix it and we have tried everything. Im near BT Broardband i have a wireless hub surrounded by my study and the internet will still not work i have tried re conecting the laptop next to the cd rom but no luck. Does any one no wat has happend and how 2 fix it??

It seem that your wireless configuration has be erased from your computer when you used it in France. Your gonna own to get the SSID and WEP/WPA switch from your hub/router and configure it on your computer so it can connect wirelessly.

Have you tried a wired nouns, plugging a wire from your computer into your wireless router (most wireless routers hold WIRED ports on the back).

Check the TCP/IP settings on the LAN CONNECTION, maybe something have changed it to STATIC IP (which is wrong).
did u reset the ISP modem, that could sometimes be the case since my wireless router stops working if in that is no activity. Also trademark sure that the settings also match near the info that the ISP has such as email, password, IP address, failure to pay gateway.
If you still have problems, contact the company that manufacture the router.

Call your internet provider company--they should have a support tech who can amble you through it.
The very first item you should try is to reset everything.
1. Reset your cable modem, wait for the modem to come online. and see if it solved your problem. except then step 2.

2. Reset your wireless router by pressing and holding the reset button on the stern or the bottom of your router.
After this, you might need to configure your settings but you can do this subsequently. We are just trying to see if it is your router that is to say causing your problem. After the reset, see if you can pick up the signal from your laptop and also connect to the internet. If it did not work.

3. While you be in France, own you used static IP address?
