Which is better: WindowsXP Pro or Vista?

Answer:
From everything I hold read so far VISTA is a wash because of adjectives the hardware upgrades you need to carry. Wait unitl you plan on buying a new computer and bring in sure it has vista installed.
wats vista?
Vista for looks but XP Pro for business, by the agency Windows Vista has alot of bugs so I don't recommend it.
Vista state-of-the-art.
vista theres this weird pattern site where this guy only keeps discussion and he is like a drawing and its flash
I have Vista on the Main PC can not overpower the amount of up grades, but XP Pro is nice on the go (Laptops etc.)
Windows XP
because Vista does not certify some hardwares , like USB drives
and it is severely heavy,slow.
for this massively high cinfiguration is to be used.
i suggest windows vistab would b the best
Windows2000 Pro
XP is better than Vista, because it more stable very soon with adjectives the fixes.
Vista in time may prove to be better once it get smoothed out. This can only come to pass when people start using it and have trouble and Microsoft make fixes and put them surrounded by a SP1 and SP2 or whatever they appointment it this time.
Vista does have a problem for a time near software running on it, many companies may not hold a upgrade at this time for your software, so, check the web-sites for that stuff.
One little goodie I thought is nice about Vista is the flair to use a flash drive for virtual memory, that will help family with a motherboard that not own a lot of upgrade capability. The flash drive would access faster than a hard drive.
Vista really stipulation a minimum of 1 GB of RAM, even though they say 512 MB, it work, but, not greatly well.
I would not be surrounded by a hurry to grab Vista, impart it some time to see how it fair on the fresh computers that people buy.
Also, for a regular user, I get the impression Home Premium should be the best for the money, unless it for a big company then the others may be OK.
I will recommend window xp as it is more secure than window vista. Proof can be found here http://www.dmxzone.com/showdetail.asp?ne...
It really depends, Windows XP is the most used version that most general public enjoy, and simple to use. Vista, in good health there are 3 version, Home Basic, Home Premium, and Ultimate. Vista are already came out, so I suggest to save XP Pro for now, and continue to get a free upgrade to Ultimate, or Premium.
