You might as in good health buy one with it built-in if you plan to hold on to your new laptop for more than a few years. You might involve bluetooth connectrivity in the close to future which propose buying a BT USB adapter if your laptop doesnt have it. Then you will probably hold a small accident and the USB adapter get ripped out sidesways damaging your USB port on the laptop! So if you hold a choice go but a laptop next to it built in!
