Anybody buy the Dell XSP M1210? My son may buy one and I want to know reviews that are not posted by Dell?

It's a really devout computer. To me, this, a MacBook, and the Vaio SZ series are the only laptops I would buy. If you configure it near the upgraded video card and sound card, and if you don't cheap up on the processor, it's an excellent computer.
Just remember, the blind is extremely small. One main complaint is the LCD peak quality. It differs from computer to computer because Dell uses three different types of LCD screen from different companies. Someone suggested to me that I should just obtain one with the built contained by camera. When you add the camera, they use a specific peak for your laptop. It's the best screen out of the bunch.
if you buy a dell, dont buy any of their specialized support etc...Dell is mortal sued right now for fraud and false public notice..
do yourself a favor...buy a macbook or macbook pro
It should be a really really good comuterim also buying a laptop from dell deeply soon to but im buying a inspartion4600 (i thing explicitly what its called) we also bought dell for a famely comuter. I think dell is really right.

For just $700 more than their chief, i can also put in 2gb DDR2 667 push (add $90 for 4gb ram, and please not, it will require XP PRO x64 or Vista x64), it would hold Dual 512MB DDR3 nVIDIA(R) GeForceTM GO 7950 GTX PCI-ExpressTM 16X Graphics with SLITM Technology enabled (thats a total of 1gb of dyed-in-the-wool video memory), two 100gb 7200rpm or two 160gb 5400rpm hard drives, AMD TurionTM 64x2 TL-60 (AMD is better for syuff resembling gaming), Windows XP Home or Vista Basic (add $60 for Vista premium or XP Pro), 20" WSXGA+ (1680x1050) with Super Clear Glossy Surface Display, 8x dual seam dvd burner, internal G wireless + bluetooth, carrying bag AND it have the ability for $120 to install an internal TV turner.
For the price, near is no way the dell M1210 can defeat it.
And the shell is the Clevo M570A, which Clevo is the ODM, the companies that makes the laptops shell/barebone for companies such as dell and alienware.
Heres better nonetheless, I am getting Clevo D900c laptops in a couple of days, and that laptop is the hottest of the latest. Alienware and dell new upcoming laptops will use the clevo d900c.

In the above laptop, the d900c laptop, it has what is call MXM IV technology for the video card(s). First off, near are new laptops next to MXM III. The dfference is that the IV is for better higher presentation video cards, the best video cards. What this mean for you, It ability, Once the 8800gtx video cards are released for laptops, then you can upgrade this laptop to fact cards like 8800gtx. They are very soon going to start selling upgrade video cards, companies such as asus will be producing them. So why pay extra and grasp a laptop with SLI of 7950gtx, and of late wait and afterwards spend the money on getting 8800GTX video cards, which I can install for free for you, meaning you buy the video cards, afterwards i install them.
