My IMB Thinkpad Shows zilch on the eyeshade?

I can turn it on but zilch is displayed on the screen. It's purely black. I can hear the fans and a pale light turns on but that's it. Can you assist me?

You can try hitting Fn and F7 a few times, wait a few second after each try, that cycles through the internal/external monitor settings.
Sounds to me alike a broken on the bus connected internally, time to get that computer to a repair shop contained by the area.
What u can do is, plus a pictographic cable to ur laptop from a external moniter,and it it is still blank, theres a high possibility that ur motherboard isnt working. Cuz if ur harddisk is have a problem, it'll show something on the scree. but since its blank as u said, im definatly sure ur motherboard has a problem. I hope this info help. Cheers!.
