Laptop Memory, what confines its expansion?

I m cheking on HP's website and i am indecided between 2 of its products. The just things that trows me off from buying the one i close to is that under the customization panel does not pass me the option for 4gs of hit, it only give me 1 or 2 gs option. Does that propose i wont be able to upload to 4gs surrounded by the future?

It should tell you what the maximum RAM constrict is. If I recall correctly, most HP sv series laptops are predetermined to 2 gigs.
It only restrictions you to 2gigs so you can't upgrade to 4gigs. If you could then they would hold probably have added the 4gig remedy so they can charge you more.
