Do you niggardly the power cord? You'll need an AC/DC converter. Look at Radio Shack or Best Buy.
I use a 350watt power inverter and a short time ago use the power cord that was supplied beside the laptop.
Normally it is called an auto nouns adapter. You should contact whoever you bought your laptop from to make sure you win a compatible one. Another option is buying an inverter that simply turns your cigerate outlet into a wall outlet but make sure it outputs satisfactory power.
if the cord you are referring to is for the power, you can purchase one at a car accoutrements shop, just describe to them what you entail. It plugs in to the cigarette lighter, the one that you push thats have a livhted cigarette logo on top.
Get a power inverter, but get one that sends strong power to the workstation.
I used a $12 one and it did not send too much liquid, so my laptop was not charging. I after bought one that powers two regular connectors and it work fine.
The power inverter connects to the cigar lighter connector and you use the regular batery pack from your laptop connected to the power inverter.
I used this to use my laptop as my GPS with Delorme Street Maps and their USB GPS adapter. All for smaller quantity than $120.
