ok so my Gateway notebook hasnt have sound for awhile. I download realtek audio and have a gateway technician run me through it. All it says for it is the device cannot start code 10. I reinstall it and it does alike thing. I restarted the computer. same article happens. soo what do i do to trade name the sound come on? what am i doing wrong?

Make sure you own a realtek sound chip first. There are several manufacturer out there and when there's a shortage of chips, the companies will normally times just run and get another cheap nouns chip to dump onto the motherboard to provide the sound. I've have this frustration in yesteryear with other people's Gateway computers.
