Would you recommend a MacBook or PC for uni?

Almost no games will work on a Mac, and those that do have a special Mac variation seperate from the PC version. If you want to play any of your games, consequently you'll want a PC.
What are you doing? If you're planning on writing papers and surfing the web a bit, next a Mac is clearly ahead.
If you're doing hardcore computer science, you going to be programming and designing. You could go next to a PC and run Linux on it, or get a Mac, verbs below the surface, where it's unix and use that.
Or you could achieve a PC with window and have it slow to a crawl near either virus or virus detectors and have the wireless drivers bork out on you after 6 months.
You should find a PC for Uni. I would highly recommend a Toshiba Satellite M65-S9092.
anotherbsdparent is right. With the MacBook, you don't enjoy to worry almost viruses, worms, malware etc. It is the top rate laptop. It comes with iLife which is iTunes, iDVD, iPhoto, Garage Band, Photo Booth, iCal, iMovie, etc. The lone thing you may want to affix is a free version of Open Office, or buy a edition of Word. If you really, really have to run some Windows programs, you can use BootCamp or Parallels and install Windows on the computer also, but that separator would be susceptible to viruses.
