The grand piano is probably working fine, Vista is struggling to keep up beside what you're typing.
Ditto answers 1&2; Nightmare! and.Vista is plagued with problems. Keyboard? This is a brand new one!
If you're tired & stressed (which I guess you are, doing your thesis), uninstall Vista & stick with XP, at lowest until you've finished University. Stick with a mechanism that you CAN work on. Play with Vista afterwards (also, when microsoft enjoy fixed it!)

this site will give you a sony vaio laptop lately for completing some quick online tasks! really recommend it, especially if you're broke but really want/need a laptop (like me).
Downgrade to XP and bring on with your work.
Vista will not work properly till they bring the bugs out of it in nearly year 2009. Remember ME when Microsoft got rid if the bugs within that they made it redundant ,and started with XP. Now XP still have problems but it's nearly sorted out, going very especially well if I influence so myself. Why would you want to change unless you are looking (paying) for trouble. They are in recent times using us as guinea pigs yet again. Progress is the baptize of the game but why should YOU PAY. Vista should be FREE FREE FREE until they achieve it some way right
Just muse of IE7 trouble as opposed to IE6 or WMP11 trouble as opposing WMP10 etc,etc. Read the QAPOP.com s sometime I am not alone. Vista is just trash for the time man, at least.
