My computer's peak turn rotten suddenly. Why?

Once contained by a while, when my laptop is on and running, and i'm playing songs on window medium player, the screen would suddenly verbs but my laptop didnt shut down because i can still hear music from my media player. I tried moving my mouse or beating my keyboard but nought happened. The peak is completely black like it have shut down.then i past its sell-by date it or press the hibernate button and on it again, it resumes where i gone off. What is occurring? I have antivirus programme and everything is fine and working properly. Only once surrounded by a while it happens.
