This may nouns dumb, but can i swap my PowerBook G4's PowerPC processor near an intel processor? save; can I

possibly upgrade it to a faster PowerPC processor? (go from a 1.7 GHz to a let's say.. 3GHz)

If the answer is yes to any option, how straightforward is it, and where can i receive instructions? i looked in ifixit.com but could not find anything give or take a few processor upgrades.
Thanx for your answers!

No, the two aren't compatible. I actually call Mac about this and they unsophisticatedly talked to me resembling I was crazy.
Possibly, if you are using the proper format or own a sufficent bus line inside your motherboard.
You cant upgrade 1.7 to 3GH ...DORK
just buy a laptop
I don't know much about macs and exactly which models started using intel processors but my short answer would be no.

Long answer is that it depends on the chip/motherboard type. Technical research required here.
