I enjoy partitioned my drives so that my files and OS are on different drives.
Do I have a virus? I can simply get system restore stern to a few hours ago.
I'm running vista and it;s a Vaio Laptop.

to construct sure you have no problems near virus's etc if not i would suggest have the ram checked and replaced if bust or perchance the hard drive replaced..
its too tough to tell, so do the virus scan and if be appropriate it to a pc repair shop or a moral friend who knows going on for pc's
1.Do not connect to Internet.

Nothing to verbs. Your laptop is safe. I enjoy same problem (Vaio)trying to connect to a Dialup!..Updated driver/s etc sometime i get connected and most of the time laptop shuts down. I enjoy Broadband also.
