Graphics Card?
Answer:
It's strong ample to run some games, but not new ones. If you want to play the most modern 3D games with nice effects and fully clad speeds I would recommend upgrading to at least a 7600GT or better.
The amount of memory in actual fact has smaller number to do with gaming production than the power of the graphics processor. The 6150 is fairly shaky for high closing 3D games. A 128MB GeForce 7600GT is going to perform much better than a 256MB GeForce 6150 since the hardware chip (GPU) is far more powerful. Right in a minute 256MB versions get rid of for around $100-$150 so they are the best deal for the average gamer.
Additional write down:
For Age of Empires, Sims, Rise of Nations you'll be fine with what you enjoy. None of these games require more than a GeForce 2 video card to run full speed at maximum settings.
Basic games from 5 years ago, yes.
ya but i would get a better one only so you have no wad or any thing and win good internet
depends on the activity... I'm running quite a bit more for F.E.A.R. but my previous 5600 did fine for lower completion and older games.
not really, but it'll do for presently. In the coming months, though, it won't keep up. I suggest you upgrade it very soon, while you can. If you can afford it, get a hot DirectX 10 compliant card, as most to all modern games will begin supporting the exotic standard.
yes. Just depends on the games.
Yes its ok for alot of games, but you may want to look at upgrading to at least a 256mb card to play graphicly intense games. (512 is better and the price can be found for below 100$ on sites like untried egg)
it's strong enough to play most games, But if you be going for games like battlefield 2, you would want a 256mb, 512mb Nvidia or ATI brand. If you still enjoy a choice it would be best to get the 256mb at smallest, because 128mb will be outdated soon and it's the least you can buy surrounded by most stores. A better graphic cards hold higher FPS(Frames per second) and Better point.
128 is perfectly fine,
if you are planning on raise to online first person shooters or nice investigational MMO's, i'd suggesting upgrading to 256 if your a gamer
6150 isnt as bad as it should be, but it's not even close to bleeding snake. See if you can land AT LEAST a 7600GS or better. If you can ge an ATi choice, get a 1600 or complex. Either of these should be a great all around gaming singer for a not a lot of change. The 6150 is good for elder games.
