What would be worse?

Leaving your PC on continuously and risking fry damage to the cpu or shutting down / restart and risking bring down to the hard drive?

Answers:
Neither really and it depends on how long for and how normally you want to start up/shut down.

I shut my PC down every time I've finished using it - this is usually once per day.

Most electronic components are tested drastically heavily.

Also, most PCs now enjoy energy abiding features enabled in the OS whereby a sleep or hibernate mode is invoked after a unquestionable period of time which would avoid the steam issue...
are you on some kind of virus attack? departure a pc on continuously is okay but it is better to shut it down properly if its not contained by use. shutting it down properly will not damage the sturdy disk.
Please explain worse. If you like the salesman at the rock-hard drive counter, then it's better to turn stale the computer. a lot.
On the other paw there is deeply to be said for geeky type people. While they may not be popular within schools, the reality that shows up in surveys is that 99 percent of adjectives employers will hire a geeky 'engineer' previously they will hire anyone who is at all cool. It's a reflective psycological need and have been published within Psycology today as a comprehensive study on the phenomenon. If you want steady traditional employment and don't mind being married if you are femal to a guy who is other gone doing government work, leave your job your computer on all the time - besides it is see as a statement among geek guys - you can start a conversation saying "I bestow my computer on all the time so I can get hold of a new CPU that I can rely on - focus I can get a faster one?
If you use sleep mode the CPU and other components will not be hot plenty to suffer any heat related shame. An additional benefit is you will use incredibly little power. Sleep mode reduces power consumption by in the order of 90%.

"tandby versus Sleep modes

All ENERGY STAR(R) labeled computers, monitors, and other energy compliant products differentiate between standby and sleep modes. Standby mode is when the thorny disk powers down, the monitor switches off, and the start applications are stored in the RAM. The processor is not turned sour and to activate the piece of equipment, any activity of the the ivories, mouse, or an incoming call is required which efficiently restores the former state of the notebook. In sleep mode, also known as the hibernation mode, the settings are save on the hard disk, the processor is turned stale, and a soft boot (restart) is required to make the contraption wake up from the sleeping state. Standby mode consumes more power than sleep mode."

The risk of trash to the hard drive by starting and stopping the computer is insignificant.

If you undo and close a lot of programs, some programs will not release adjectives the memory they took when they close. For this and other reasons I approaching to reboot daily.

I do not similar to leaving my computer running unattended for extended period of time.
