PLEASE HELP!! my motherboard wont boot up?

I am currently putting together a custom bag, and I am installling an asus p3v4x motherboard, and I cannot seem to gain it to turn on, I really cant figure it out, ive be trying, ive tried numerous power switches, and it just wont even turn on, i am started to give attention to maybe could i enjoy an insufficient power supply? any answers would be appreciated, and if u need any details please answer and i will grant u more details, please help me, i cant seem to be to figure this out alone, thankfulness

did you plug in the aux 4-pin power connector?

What size is the power supply?

Does the Power supply's hanger-on come on at all?

What else is attached to the motherboard (HD, compact disc drives, video cards, etc)?

Double check the header connectors (the small, black connectors coming from the front of the case) and make sure they're properly connected to the right header pins.

UPDATE:
construct sure the dip switches are set to the proper settings for your cpu, memory.
