Amount or traces within a Bus and the name and functions?

I call for to know whether i am correct or not that a bus contains TWO traces, one is a data bus (data is transferred along this channel) and the other is an address/memory bus (locates where on earth the data must be transferred to) and is the internal bus an alternative occupancy for system bus, coz if it is, my PC notes are wrong! :( they probably confused it near the external bus when they were defining the difference contained by frequency rate. snif snif
