I enjoy nothing nouns coming from my speakers.?

they used to work (harmon/kardon) but since i replaced my HD they don't engineer a peep. i've tried the volume controls... everything is set on high-ranking (no mute). all of my nouns card things are weird: at one point they'll articulate "operable" or that they work, then on another tab they'll say aloud "inoperable" or that they don't work. i've downloaded something like the nouns card things from microsoft but nothing give (i don't know if it was even the right one to use). any assist?

I am going to guess that you bought a manufactured pc similar to HP.
Start by going the manufacturers trellis site and check for a support/drivers page link. Click on the connect or enter information like the product familial and model in a paddock box. Assuming of course you are still using the artistic sound card. I recommend not using Microsoft's Generic drivers. They do not work beside all nouns cards.
If that fails check your device enumerate in Device Manager:
Start> Control Panel> System (in classic view)> Hardware tab>
Device Manager. (> indicates a click)
Sound card info should be within Sound, Video and Game controllers list.
Once you enjoy make and model information, scour for manufacturer's website to obtain drivers.
