Does anyone know how to shut this stale? The autoplay function(to play music files and such with Windows media) keep turning on (pop up) while I am trying to rip music on to my external hard drive. I choose the "Take no action" god and click OK, but it kills my sony program and I own to re-open the program and start over. Sometimes it goes 5 mins next starts up, other times it goes roughly an hour or so. I am trying to rip all of my CD's (800+) on to my Seagate External and this keep happening and is really frustrating. Any help out is appreciated.
Answer:
maybe travel to the drives properties and set everthing to take no doings on the autoplay tab ...
If you hold down SHIFT after you put the disk in, it will not autoplay.
There's just one way to stop autoplay:
1. Unplug your computer
2. Pick up your computer
3. Walk to the closest windowpane
4. Trow the computer out of the window
