A buddy and me ride bikes around the city, plentifully. I was interested within us having a natural way of contacting respectively other. Because in traffic sometimes you simply can't hear each other. I would similar to a walkie-talkie that you place in your ear, and also you can any talk threw a mic, or own something on your hand you articulate into. And possibly something that you can squeeze to activate the mic. Sorta similar to the FBI uses or something. Anyway can anyone link me to some upright products, that are not over say 100 dollars. Most FRS/GMRS radios own the capability to use external headset. Radioshack sells radios and headset both. Most other places like Wal-Mart and Best Buy take radios, but may or may not carry headset.
If you use any GMRS frequencies, an $85 license is required, so allow for this when purchasing your radios.
Now a days walkie talkies have voice activate, example you say something and the walkie talkie activate and you talk later you stay quiet for resembling one second and it'll stop the ptt (push to talk) and using a mic is a good belief, thats all i know hope this help a little
