What to do? I spilled some lemonade on my grand piano. Will this effect it? How should I verbs it? What do i?
Answer:
Yes, most probably it will suffer from corrosion due to sugar within the lemonade. Take everey key out using a small screwdriver or sturdy plastic letter starter (remember to lay them out in a table near enough space so you can recreate the keyboard contained by the right order), clean next to damp cloth.
A Computer Cleaner gooey or mousse can be used. Clean every key and, using a qtip dripping with cleaner, verbs the outside of the small receptacle where the push button "travels". The sugar here will render all key sticky and maybe unusable.
Good, pricey, keyboards are undemanding to clean since they commonly have soft guards precisely for this kind of events.
This should be satisfactory to clear most remains.
if its still wet DON'T turn it upside down... especially if its still working right immediately... let it dry and don't verbs about it
its not that doomed to failure, if you clean it immediatelly it wont affect you system
anyways keyboards cost similar to 10 dollars for the real cheap ones
Don’t verbs
First: disconnect your keyboard from your PC (do it as soon as possible)
Second:
If your grand piano is not too old (for example it is not a ten years older one) you can detach your keyboard glibly!! Don’t worry roughly it,
(even if it is old first whip a picture by your camera from your keyboard, it will assist you to put the keys within the right position), but you won't need to purloin a picture if you have a strange keyboard, because the key won't be scattered, and you can smoothly detach the upper side of your keyboard and clean it! (Once I did it)
I really agree with nahuel, I spilled soda on my the ivories once, take sour the cover and if the keys come out, lift them out and wash them however you want, I used soap and wet...well if it isn't electronic, dry-clean it and let dry. the electronics fragment of it...I'm not sure, but whatever you do, create sure the keyboard is unplugged.
