Keyboard cable converter?

I enjoy a somewhat conventional keyboard near the round circular type plugin that goes within the back of my computer contained by the keyboard slot. Well I bought a different laptop that does not have this plug surrounded by is there some sort of cable converter that can switch it to a usb? if so what are they call?

Anyway why would you want to put an aged worn out KB on a nice shiny new laptop? The cable will cost $6 and investigational USB kb only costs $9
I dont know what its call but they do have PS/2 to USB converter plugs.
Yes, the PS/2 to USB converter will work, for almost $6-8. Or, you can buy a cheap USB keyboard for $12-16. Your choice.

Also, if you are planning to dock the laptop, it may enjoy a docking station you can buy, with upright and mouse connectors.
I used this USB to PS/2 converter. It worked perfectly.
Be meticulous there are deeply of cheap ones that do not work correctly.
