Could be just need to refresh your modem/router (if used) freshly do a power cycle or ipconfig.
START>RUN
type in CMD (enter)
type contained by ipconfig /release
type in ipconfig /renew

Also one piece I would look at is if you havnt updated your video drivers find out what kind of video card you own go to the manufactuers webstie and download the hottest drivers for your card. If you do not know what type of card you have follow these steps.

My Computer>Control Panel>System>Hardware>Device Manager
Under display adapters you will find what caring of card you have...

Hope that help.
Run spyware scan. Use Adaware or Spybot search and verbs.

Use firefox with McAfee siteAdvicor (addon). This will chronicle the sites containning spy and viruses. Mostly winter sport sites contain spy and viruses.

Even this does not work. Try Zone Alarm Pro.
Please be sure to close adjectives download programs like emule and limewire, etc. They are cause heavy wad due to big amount of connections and in supplement they are also using your bandwidth.
It can be from your VGA card or memory try to upgrade it
