I am curious as to whether at hand is any difference in sensitivity/default pointer speed between notebook mouses and desktop mouses.I know that I can other manually set the pointer speed to a lower speed after I connect my notebook mouse, but then it also change my touchpad's speed also. However, I do not have this problem next to desktop mouses, because their default pointer speed is already "slow" plenty so that I can keep my touchpad speed as is. Basically, my request for information is are there any programs that are competent to differentiate between setting a mouses speed and a touchpad's speed, and if not, is in that any notebook mouses that have a similar "default" pointer speed to desktop ones?
