When I play Need For Speed Most Wanted on my PC it have short pause during gameplay. What could inflict this?

I hold a Radeon 9250, 128MB video card and 500MB of RAM. Some of my RAM is taken up by programs running in the situation that I cannot end. The spectator sport says you have need of 256MB of RAM and an ATI Radeon card 7500 or greater. I have adjectives of the system requirements listed on the spectator sport.

Answer:
Try stopping some background applications (firewalls etc.) or processes (be cagey with this as it can stop your contraption, needing a reboot). You can access these by pressing the CTRL+ALT+DEL key.
You need to find a better video card! The requirements on the box are just minimum requirments to be paid the game play. To variety it play in TOP competence, a better video card is the way to run!
still sounds like ur video card or knock against isnt picking up the slack ...try a little lower resoultion on the team game and also download a free version of a video tester rotten of c-net sorry forgot its name but it will relay u frame speed
try to close all programs runnings surrounded by the background, make safe your anti virus (be sure you're not playing on-line).

But unless you're using a dual-core processor , then there's no problem shutting past its sell-by date some programs in your setting.

if you have enought budget, try using AMD Athlon 64 processor.

Good luck!
Your short pause is called "lag"
Your computer is not powerful or rapid enough to preserve up with the demands of the activity (well, it can, because you can play it, but it is not the best way to play it)
It may be worthy if you got rather more RAM
if you don't want to
before your winter sport
just click Ctrl>Alt>Delete
walk to you task supervisor
and click on the tab that says Processes
close some programs that you KNOW are extra
NEVER close anything that has a User identify of Local Service or System
those run your computer, if u close it, you are doomed
also, don't close your explorer.exe program in near
that runs your startbar (found out by trial and error)
close programs such as
iexplore.exe (internet explorer windows)
ObjectDock
WZQKPICK.exe
SetPoint
LogitechDesktopManager
LogiTray
you may not have some of the programs planned
but u get it
if you don't know what a absolute program does, don't click it
or click it when you have the time to restart your computer (and hold everything saved)
also, you can close your Spyware software and Virus protection
that uses alot of the computer's energy
the more programs you close, the faster i will obtain for you to play games
You have the minimum requirements, a 256 mb card will clutch less hits on your system. Crtl-Atl-Del and see which programs are hitting the memory the most.
look surrounded by the control panel for the video card try some different settings or even the games website maybe they own a forum
