Help! My computer sounds similar to it is feed pay for!?
At least it SOUNDS approaching a low feedback rumble. You know when a small (to start with) hum starts and then get louder and louder until it is VERY loud and you run to switch off the power point when working beside sound equipment? It sounds approaching that, but it doesn't get adjectives that loud. Instead, it crescendos up and then diminuendos down again and fade out. Shortly after it comes back within and does the same article. The whole process take 7 seconds.
I believe that sabotage is being done, but after turning it bad (and the sound consequently ceasing), I turned it back on and it started straight away. NOW, I can here occasional little scratchings inside the computer box.

is your fan blowing downards or on the side? coz if it is blowing downwards, it's blocking the heavens and needs space to stir out.
a strange one! this is purely an educated guess but have the machine get a microphone connected? if so, disable it - failing that, start the machine surrounded by safe mode if it still does it its potential to be hardware
if it stops check what programs run in perspective or is it an annoying advert running in Internet explorer?
try reinstalling nouns card drivers
