Network printing problem?

I hold setup an Epson D68 printer on a client PC that is human being shared out on the network to one other user. Firstly the user that connects to it couldn't print yesterday so i disabled bi-directional printing which solved this but in a minute the person who have the printer connected to their pc is have problems, its taking about 4 minutes to spool and print sour 1 page, any ideas?

Cheers

Answer:
First, try turning your printer's bi-directional characteristic off. This is usually expert with a special software program provided by the factory owner, a Windows driver or within one of the printer's on-board menus. You should refer to your printers user guide for more information.

If the above doesn't solve the problem for you, or call for a different solution, your second option is to try any a small print server device or the Linksys Bi-Directional 2-to-1 AutoSwitch. Both of these devices support bi-tronics and bi-directional communication, thereby allowing you to share your printer. The Linksys device will even allow you to share files between computers as well. Although the Linksys part is currently in its nouns stages, we expect to have them shortly

Have you rebooted the client PC recently? That might minister to. Also, make sure it's a PCL printer driver. Postscript printers can pinch quite a while to spool job.
None of that makes any valid sense. Sounds like you'll a short time ago have to play beside it. The USB 1.1 technology. while it shouldn't, could have something to do next to the problem?
I don't use Windows but perhaps you could check whether within is a conflict between the printer drivers on the different PCs. Is the printer server PC sending raw information or formatted data?
