Active x. is it secure to install ive a moment ago have to own my comp restored and dont want to break it again!!?
Answer:
Active X within itself is not the issue.. what is at issue is what active x controls you allow a website to nouns on to your machine. Here is a correct article to help you. I enjoy my computer set to ask me if it should load the control from a website. That bearing I can decide to allow or not allow depending on what website I call on. They can be a real problem should someone settle on to use one for bad purposes.

no
Yup. It's undeniably safe to install Active X, n' that's 'cause it's from the Microsoft Corp. The ones that created Internet Explorer n' Windows.
Been fine on my laptop for a year. Suppose it depends what you download to play using moving x. You do have to appropriate off the window control stopping active x which suggests it could be dodgy but it is a microsoft program so long as you stick beside decent files to play I conjecture it would be OK
try to use a new text,
I've Got it and it drives me happy!

Buy Acronis TrueImage 10...
Use that to backup Windows to an depiction file and consequently if you ever get anything obnoxious, restore the image.
What I also do is set C: Windows XP at 20GB though could be smaller and next a D: partition for the rest of the space. Then I cut and stick (move) DESKTOP, My Documents and FAVORITES to D:\System Files - Do Not Delete! (hidden).
Now when I backup C:\ my saved stuff is retained on D:\.
Before I update programs, I restore to the later image first and consequently make a strange backup once I've updated. I came up next to this idea as be the only true process I could think of to be free of spyware. I do it once a month or so...
If you use sensible sites, Active x will be fine.
Go to crack sites and you'll get hold of free viruses.
I'm buying adjectives my software now...too risky and you should support the programmer. I buy my music too.
Active X is just used in Internet Explorer.
More and more software developers are using it to deploy their software, but where on earth there is polite, there is evil. Hackers, Virus maker and Malare developers also use it to screw your system and steal your private information, so looking at it on a wider spectrum, Active X is yet another rubbish invention by Microsoft.
Have a look at my knit
yes its safe, lacking it its hard to see video clips
Yes if you set the deposit choices in Internet Explorer to ask until that time loading active-x controls, that way you know what's going on. Some pattern sites need it to display properly though.
I use Firefox, which doesn't use active-x and so far I've solitary had to use IE beside Active-x for 2 sites. If you are looking at a banking site, later you can safely use the controls, if you are trying to return with uncensored pictures of the latest heart throb consequently perhaps not
