Are the specs on this roll obedient for gaming? If not, how to add to it?
Intel Pentium D 925- Dual Core(3.0 GHz, 800 MHz FSB)
512 RAM
256MB GF FX 5500
350 GB 7200rpm SATA Hard Disk
Samsung DVD-RW Drive
15" AOC LCD Monitor
D-LINK Internal Modem
500W AVR
Answer:
Neither of those are for gaming at adjectives. Not even close, sorry.
I would try something more like this:
Asus Nforce 520 motherboard:

Amd x2 3600+ or x2 4000+ cpu.
At tiniest 1gb of DDR2 800 ram (2 x 512mb ram), 2gb total knock against is recommended.
Radeon 1950GT at least

17" monitor (one made for gaming).

There are wide open screens, http://www.newegg.com/product/product.as...
but they will obligation a better video card to be playable.

If you don't deal beside much music/movies, get a smaller harddrive to release money.
Here's some charts to help out you deside:

The board and intel processor are obedient... you need more hit (depending on type of what games you will play)
Video card is very dated / weak (for 3d gaming)
Harddrive is ok
Monitor is amazingly weak... go and get a flat screen LCD... :)
upgrade hit atleast 2gb
if supported upgrade video card to 512mb
change monitor to 17' or 19"
if your purchasing a computer beside money as a priority,
then you computer is fine.
but if ur really intended to play massive ceremonial games, then i dream up u will need to shift for more than a GB of ram, a 512 or more amount of VRAM (Video RAM) on your illustrative card,
Processor speed may be fine, but more than 3.6 would be appreciable
Increase RAM to 1Gb. Your video card is old tech and slow for most clean games. You can have better production w/ a 7300GT AGP or a 7600GS AGP. Expect great gaming w/ the more expensive X1950 Pro AGP.
Happy gaming!
increase ram to at least possible 1 gb; it is best to use DDR2 it is faster and cost less than the behind the times ddr400. This will also depend if your motherboard supports ddr2.
change VC to pci-e VC near at least 256mb. your motherboard must also support pci-e.
AOC Monitor - if i am not mistaken it have 8 fs response time. it is good enought but a lower rate would be best so that within will be no "ghost effect". This monitor does not own dvi input. Better to get a bigger monitor next to faster rate. and with dvi input so that you can use the full potential of the video card.
