Computer Placement/Location?

My computer sits contained by the corner of my den next to a ample window. I preserve the blinds closed during the day, but the sun still filter in through the slats. The sun beam across my keyboard and LCD.
Is this desperate for either one?
I live within a mild climate, 70 degrees is hot, 80 is roasting and 90 we adjectives just drop limp.
