My d drive cannot work. it keep stating that the driver cannot read he files and the disk could be formatted.



Answers:
sounds resembling your files are corrupted or the HD is bad and wishes to be replaced. try formatting it.
Than Format it. Either it was effect by a virus, you dropped it, decent mount of use (old or used alot) or freshly bad luck

Format it and boom.

Or if you wanna try to restore your health it try to boot a Linux (suggest Knoppnix) to recover some of your background...

Hmm... in that might be some *possible* recovery option, but we'd need some more information first.

Mainly; what generous of drive is your D:\ drive? (Hard disk, CD/DVD, flash drive, internal, external, and so on, as well as what company produced it, if that information is available.)

It should also serve if you could provide the exact error message that you get when trying to gain access to the drive.

If the drive is one you've impossible before, it might not hurt to product sure that it is set-up in a channel that your computer can read it. (If you have be using it before and only just the error is new, this isn't possible to be the problem.)
