Audio device and nouns device: cannot play songs contained by medium player b/c no nouns device install?
my ques: what is a nouns device? what's the difference b/t sound device and audio device?
when i check my device supervisor, the ac97 audio device is on the list, however, it is not on the nouns and audio device. i wonder how would i solve it
p.s. i dont have a compact disc for my computer setup.

Hi,
I'm no computer expert, but if you are running Windows XP you can travel to your control panel and check on you sound/audio devices. It should give you an opportunity there to " prod for drivers". If you know what kind of speakers you own, you should be able to find the appropriate driver to install. Having said adjectives that, call a local repair shop, and explain the problem, most small repair shops are slightly accommodating and willing to facilitate.
find what kind of nouns card you have and afterwards get the drivers for it online and reinstall them.
I ponder an audio device is the speakers and the sound device is the nouns card.
What windows are you running, XP or Vista?
I installed an update on Windows Vista, and consequently it said no audio device installed, I had to restore my computer!

try this homie.go below control panel and click on administrative tools.when its open click services.when its friendly scroll down to where you see WINDOWS AUDIO.create sure it started.if that dont work then re-download medium player.
