I want to connect my workstation to my tv to play notebook games on my tv??

i enjoy hdmi ports on my tv..so do i need an avi to hdmi cord??.

yes, near is a dvi to hdmi convertor. I brought one off flea-bay but the ability didnt seem as great as using a standard vga input to the tv. HDTV's are pretty much gloified monitors beside set resolutions.
