Can I put a Nvidia GeForce2 within an Emachines T5010?

I want to put this video card into my notebook so I can actually play the Sims 2 minus it freezing. Right now I enjoy an Intel Graphics Media Accelorator 900. Also how hard would it be to put a current video card in?

Answer:
Yes, that card comes contained by two different interfaces, PCI or AGP. Emachines T5010 has an available PCI slot and a PCI Express x1 slot. You can use the PCI model, not the AGP model.

A better card that I meditate will fit in the PCI Express x1 slot is the HIS Hightech H155HMF256EDDE1LN-R Radeon X1550 512MB(256MB on board) 128-bit GDDR2 PCI Express x1 Low Profile Video Card

420 Watt ATX 2.0 or greater power supply is also needed. The T5010 have a 300 watt which should be okay for GeForce 2.

To put it in, you stipulation to put the computer on it's side and push the card in the slot. Turn past its sell-by date the Intel Graphics in the Device Manager or surrounded by the bios. You might need to set the bios to pci video. Install drivers.
A GeForce2 card is in reality less powerful than the GMA 900 series, so it doesn't hold enough grunt to run the Sims 2. You're going to want to look at the GeForce 6 or 7 series cards, such as the Geforce 6600, or the GeForce 7300. Both should be capable of be purchased well below 100$ and should be compatible with your system.
you would hold to do the following open the baggage put in the pictographic card dont change video cable surrounded by tell u install the symbolic card the slot for the card should be at the bottom here is a website which can show u what i mean http://www.youcanbuildapc.com/images/vid... if u look below the guys hand you can see holes on the crust it self usually there is a metal piece nearby that u have to remove and if u turn a little to the right u can see the white slot do not i repeat do not install ur video card nearby install it where here is two slots by each other push it surrounded by tightly but dont break it turn on ur pc and install the driver afterwards remove the video cable and put it in to the foreign vga (video card) and thats it
Yes stay clear of the Geforce 2 series these cards are very dated. Geforce 6 or 7 series should be adequate, or any ATI X1000 series should work great for sims2.

Ive searched your computers specs and cannot find if your mobo have a slot for a video card, you might have to look. Its any AGP or PCIe. Im guessing its AGP just from the rest of your specs. So first things first you must take an AGP card, or Upgrade your mobo and processor to get the newer PCIe slot. Find out what flavor card you obligation first then shop.

Good luck
I own searched 3 places as economically, I don't believe you have anything but a PCI, this is not worth investing any money into if i.e. the case. Sorry.
Check the specs here at in attendance home page, this is the last place I looked.
