CMOS checksum error - latest MB?

Check your MB users guide on "clearing" or "resetting" the CMOS. Normally done by moving a small jumper block from double act of pins to another, then pay for again. Certain models may require you to [also] or [instead of], remove the battery, loaf, then put wager on in. If you only just bought the MB new, and it's not some past its sell-by date beat-brand, chances are the mobile doesn't need replacing.
Have you confirmed that your behind the times ram is compatable next to this MB? Just because it fits doesn't mean it works. ...and btw, when you do your full system reinstall, you DO enjoy a legitimate, licensed copy of Windows (with a ticket of authenticity/ key code) that isn't already registered to another party or motherboard, R I G H T ? (Microsoft is getting tough on violations of license agreements.)
As far as "checking cables", unhook them adjectives for now. Strip it down to of late your mb, ram, a place to connect a monitor, if it "p.o.s.t."s angelic, THEN add your cd drive and a not easy drive and go from here.
It is probably the battery. Take it out, after unplugging the section and then turn it on. You should go and get it again. :) Then replace the battery and see f it comes backbone. If you can get into setup after you are good to dance. If not then embezzle everything off the MB that you can and see if you may hold a defective cable.
Sounds like it could be a grounding problem. How tight are the screw attaching the board to your system? If they are tight, then loosen them. You might also want to locate the CMOS chip and press down on it to support seat it surrounded by the motherboard (if it is socketed). Have you tried disconnecting everything (unplug floppy data cable, hard drive notes cables, remove nouns card or other devices) except RAM and video then going into CMOS?
The mobile is just for keeping the clock up to date when the computer is bad.
If it's still under waranty, receive another.
I had a similar problem, it be a bad mommyboard.
During the motherboard installation you may involve to manually set the frequency of the cpu and host bus by jumpers and dip stick switches found on the motherboard. If set wrong or gone at factory default it could head to numerous problems.
If possible go to the manufacturer website and find out what the correct settings are for the motherboard using your cpu and memory.
Check everything in your BIOS.
possibility, your RAM frequency is set to giant for your CPU.
(EXAMPLE: CPU 333MHz and RAM 400MHZ ?)
FSB set to high, and or to low.
Reset the BIOS and try again.
