i really want to get a mac but the cheapest one is 1000
so adjectives you mac users please tell me the features and whatnot of them (you should know)
and convey me if this is a bad mac

i've been a mac user for 7 years...and i devise you're making the right choice! if i were buying the apparatus, i'd put in at tiniest 1 gig of ram- os-x is knock against hungry! (i have 2 see in my mac pro)
i enjoy a friend who has the set-up you're thinking of buying...and it's plenty hastily!
i've been using os-x for since 10.2 and i've never have the computer freeze up or crash! some programs...especially microsoft word will 'unexpectedly quit' from time to time...but it doesn't affect anything else.

i can't transmit you whether to get a laptop or desktop...you inevitability to decide which is best for you. laptops are more feasible to have problems, since they capture banged around...but you've get the convenience/portability factor. the macbook you're considering was given 4 1/2 (out of 5) stars when it be rated contained by 'macworld' magazine. the 1.83 iMac was given 4 stars. bottom column, i'd go for the 2.0 imac (4 1/2 stars) if you hold the extra $200...it comes with 1 see of ram pre-installed. if you want or want the portability, the macbook is probably the way to walk!

That is a angelic iMac, but if I were you I would buy the subsequent one up. That one is 1,200 dollars. It has a 2.0 GHz processor, more memory, and a better graphics card.
