Why would my computer freeze up when i am doin something after a few mins it purely freezes up?

It could be a sign of the concrete drive going bad, or corrupt video drivers, or overheating.. or.. You find the point.
When the computer is starting up keep hitting the F8 knob on the keyboard. Choose safe and sound mode and boot to there.. it sounds approaching it doesn't take long to freeze so in recent times start doing something like you generally do and see if it freezes. If not, it's most likely corrupt video drivers or some other corrupt folder that is loading. Vid drivers are most imagined. Reinstall them and see if that helps. If it does freeze, it's probably a failing frozen drive or an overheating issue. Download, burn, boot to and run memtest86 http://www.memtest.org and run it. If you experience a lockup during that, it's either overheating or unpromising RAM. If you don't get a lockup, but did contained by safe mode faster, your hard drive is most feasible the culprit
