I am glad you have a sense of humor nearly this. :)
What you want to try first is when the PC boots (assuming that this is a windows 2000 or XP, or Vista) you can press F8 earlier the OS post, right after the bios/memory screen.
This should receive you into a few options. One of the option should be "Last known dutiful configuration" DO THIS ONE.
If you still blue screen, in attendance is a good accidental you have a hardware problem. Usually memory, unyielding drive, or processor.
At this point, you may want to consider funeral arrangements, or at least transport it to the doctor and see what is wrong. Most of the time it can be revived, but how much money do you want to put into the old dog?
If it is elder that 5 years, time to get a foreign one. If not, check out the repair options.

you enjoy to repair or reinstall the OS using your OS cd. most of your files will still be there when youre done.
